
Characteristics
We keep Chamois Pencilled Friesian. Friesian Fowl are classed as large fowl but can be mistaken for bantams because of their petite size. They are very active birds, laying around 230 eggs per year. Friesian originate from the north coast of Holland. They are a very old breed, with records of bones been found from this breed over 1000 years ago.
